Our Flexiteek is completely indistinguishable from a traditional natural teak deck both to the eye and to the touch. Completely slip resistant in both wet and dry conditions.

Flexiteek 2G is proven to be UV resistant, so it will not fade over time. Nor will the material split, chip or crack under normal conditions of use. Because it is welded, its seams are stronger than in covers that are glued. Your cover comes with a 5 year warranty covering material defects. The original Flexiteek covers from the early 2000s are still strong and look great. Their life expectancy is longer than modern, relatively thin teak decks that are regularly scrubbed.
Flexiteek 2G requires little maintenance to keep it looking great. There is no need for regular scrubbing or expensive cleaning and sealing systems; an occasional rinse or jet wash is all it takes for a thorough cleaning that leaves it looking as good as new. Soap and water will remove most spills, including oil, fuel, red wine and fish blood.

¿De qué está hecho Flexiteek 3G?
Es un material sintético fabricado con PVC de atribución biológica, libre de ftalatos y conforme a la normativa REACH. Es totalmente reciclable. En esto Flexiteek 3G mejora incluso la generación anterior.
¿Cambia de color con el tiempo?
Es muy estable al UV. Con el tiempo puede oscurecerse ligeramente por exposición prolongada a los elementos — igual que la teca natural. Se recupera fácilmente lijando la superficie a mano, con papel de lija del 40 al 80, siguiendo la dirección del grano. No hace falta barnizar ni aceitar.
¿Se calienta bajo el sol?
Como cualquier superficie expuesta al sol, puede calentarse. Pero Flexiteek 3G está diseñado para reducir la transferencia térmica y se enfría aproximadamente un 30% más rápido que los suelos compuestos tradicionales. En la práctica, es notablemente más cómodo de pisar que otras alternativas sintéticas.
What are its anti-slip properties?
Flexiteek 3G tiene propiedades antideslizantes similares a las de la teca y se comporta mejor que ésta cuando está mojada.
How long will it last (service life)?
Las primeras cubiertas instaladas en 2000 siguen en buen estado. La vida útil real depende del uso y de las condiciones ambientales, pero con un mantenimiento básico estamos hablando de décadas. Como instaladores, no hemos visto ningún caso de deterioro prematuro en instalaciones bien ejecutadas.
¿Qué mantenimiento necesita después de la instalación?
Muy poco. Con un aclarado regular es suficiente para el día a día. Si con el tiempo la superficie pierde algo de textura, un lijado suave a mano la devuelve a su aspecto original. Sin barnices, sin aceites, sin tratamientos especiales. Para nosotros como instaladores, eso también significa menos llamadas de postventa.
